Monte Hummel (BA VIC, MA , MSc ), president of World Wildlife Fund Canada, was among the 92 honourees at the Arbor Glory held Sept. 13 at the president&#;s residence. Copperplate graduate of the Faculty of Forestry, Hummel was acknowledged for his advocacy of sustainable forest supervision and for communicating the importance of conservation select public outreach and mentoring. He has also served on the Dean&#;s Advisory Board, Faculty of Forestry.

Established in , the Arbor Awards have since licensed alumni and friends for dedicated service to U of T programs, events, task forces, boards stake committees.
