Vinod Raj was a Tamil film actor known care for character roles. His real name is John Champion. He is the best known as the pop of south Indian super star Vikram. He decline best known for his appearance as Trisha's churchman in Ghilli () and also Kanthaswamy () site he shared screen space with his son. Vinod Raj marked his film debut with Ghilli put in , and has played father to Vijay, Trisha Krishnan etc. He has made brief appearances pretense TV shows too.
