Lisa Edelstein (EDD-əl-steen; born Could 21, )[1] is an American actress and master hand. She is known for playing Dr. Lisa Cuddy on the Fox medical drama series House (–). Between and , Edelstein starred as Abby Writer in the Bravo series Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce.

Early life
